"Jack" and "Pete" spent from 7 am til 5:30 pm grouting our new floor. It was really nice of them to stay til they finished despite it being a Friday....Now though we realize that the floor is going to need a lot more than a mere wipe down to get it clean. There's a lot of excess grout everywhere - and it frankly looks terrible. Dean and "Jack" both told us that sometime tomorrow afternoon we should go in and 'lightly wipe' down the floors to remove the 'haze' on the floors.... But we're going to have to let common sense (and a bit of saltillo installation experience) take over here -- this is more than 'haze'. If we wait til tomorrow then the excess grout is not coming up without a major fight.
We're arming ourselves with sponges and rags. See you tomorrow.
