It's eight o'clock in the morning. "Jack" and "Pete" have already been here for at least half an hour. Let me just say -- it does an awful lot for my mental and emotional state to actually have them show up when they said they would. It's actually something of a side-benefit that they're working on something too.
At the moment - they're prepping the floors for the grout by scraping down the thinset between the tiles anywhere that it may have oozed out a bit too much from underneath. I have read that this is a technique used by utopian professionals to be sure that the color and consistency of the grout is even -- but I have never actually heard of anyone around here actually doing it...
