Allied American does something...

Well shortly after my last post yesterday - the phone ran and I was speaking to Mr. Brown of Allied American (please note that the MDA email referred to them as First American... so this gets confusing. Perhaps they are First Allied American and it's a matter of nicknames...)

After telling the story of the inspection once again to this new person... He told me that they would send out someone else for another assessment. He also mentioned that the State of Mississippi would not be billed for this second assessment and that this was to be done at the company's expense. He was a polite and highly professional man. Therefore, even though I was definitely under the impression that he thought of me as a whiny, slightly ignorant troublemaker (there was a highly professional condescending tone to his side of the conversation) and he must deal with hundreds of me a day -- I can't really hold it against him.

Someone should be calling again within 24 hours to schedule the second assessment.

Yes, I am aware that the main purpose of a second assessment is to simply appease me ... and the second team will probably be instructed to humor me for a while before they turn in exactly the same report as the first team... But you know -- I don't care. After all of this -- I DO think someone should take the time to listen to us... for whatever that's worth in the end.
