It's really quiet around here... (If you ignore the sounds of the girls arguing over placement of furniture in the dollhouse and William practicing his violin. )
Other than continuing to get the yard and garden into shape... and getting a coat of primer on the front porch trim... Oh - and some caulk in random places throughout the house... Not a whole lot was actually done on the house this week.
Dave stopped by the Carpet Cottage to place an order for the bathroom tile, but they did not have a sample for us to actually hold in our hands first. A 12x12 tile was supposed to arrive via FedEx yesterday - but it didn't happen.
The rear glass of the Suburban was replaced on Thursday - and it's pretty obvious that the window hatch replacement is a later model part. (Perhaps an indication that Chevy realizes something is wrong with the original design). It's nice to keep rain out of the back - but we hate how the new part looks. Thankfully, it is behind me when I'm driving and I don't have to look at it much.
The really good news is that we'll be closing on our refinance Monday, May 5th.

Thank you so much, mt! I'm looking through the window at this very moment at some weeds that obviously enjoyed the rain this past weekend... So I've got to get back to work.
