With Emily well on her way towards three years old and Peter quickly outgrowing his bassinet - it was time for some new sleeping arrangements. Okay - honestly - we were really pushed to this point when Emily finally broke the side off of her crib early yesterday. It was inevitable that she would eventually have to move to a 'big girl bed' and that we'd have another reason for sleepless nights for a while.I must say it all went much better than expected and Emily only woke up to be tucked back in about 15 times before all was quiet for the rest of the night.
It seems that she found a way all on her own to comfort herself and find a way to sleep. This is what I found this morning when I went in to wake the girls:
Whatever works, Emily! Thatta girl! (And Yvonne gets the big sister award for the day too!)

Sheesh! Emily looks so grown up..well they both do. You know, seeing that picture makes me want to go visit my sister.
