Our tub surround woes (or at least the biggest chunk of them) ended this afternoon when Dean laid the last tile in place. No more jagged edges and missing wall.

Dean's going to hold off on finishing the grout to let the freshly laid tiles set properly... So for now there's no more work to be done on our tile.
In the meantime, Dean and "Slim" (not his real name) are spraying some texture on our closet walls. I think once that's finished up that will be all for the day... and that's fine with me. It has been a long and tiring week. But a happy week. A week and a half of solid work and our house has come back together in a huge way.
Dave stopped by Blossman today to check on those fireplace doors that were ordered to replace the defective ones. No word yet. He did pick up a copy of our bill to try to figure out what exactly they charged us for, however. At least one $1000 error was already removed... So it's worth looking over it just to be safe. He also called an irrigation company about installing our sprinkler system and fixing the broken water connection out front. We'd like to have that kind of work completed while our yard is still dead and mutilated.
There will be straw this weekend though. It's time to start cleaning out the flower beds and remulching for spring.
