Did We Survive Hurricane Katrina or Not?

While we're waiting for work to resume on the kitchen -- I'd like to take a post to mention, once again, our faithful dog - Judge. He hasn't exactly had the most comfortable life for the past 15 months either.... (see Judge's Aftermath) Reconstruction means that very often good portions of the house are off-limits to our furry child for his own safety... and he spends long days patiently waiting outside when strangers are here working.

Time has gone by in such a blur that I didn't realize I never gave a blog update on Judge since the shaving incident...

I have been able to finally purchase some decent grooming combs and brushes since the storm - and I think - for now at least - his fur is safe.
