The Sun Herald | 08/26/2006 | A wary eye on Ernesto: "While asking Coast residents to remain calm, Mississippi Emergency Management Interim Director Mike Womack said the area is definitely more vulnerable this year than before.

'While I haven't talked to the President, obviously I think that everyone from the President down understands how serious even a small storm can be to our area,' Womack said. 'In the event of a storm, we are going to evacuate in areas we wouldn't have a year ago. So we take a Cat 1 very seriously. We take a tropical storm very seriously.'"

Does the President really understand anything?
