Happy Halloween!

I suppose Halloween is as good an occasion to break my recent blog-silence as any. So here I am.
Just in case there aren't enough kid pictures here for you - there will be a few more at Eius Gratia.

We recently ordered and received a new battery charger for the camera (our old one was left in a certain hotel room in Atlanta when we evacuated for a certain hurricane...) and soon I'll be back in the business of blogging our house struggles. Don't worry - you haven't missed much over the last couple weeks.... We've actually reached the point of feeling quite unmotivated when we aren't able to take photos of the progress. What this means is that if there is ever a prolonged internet outage - our house will fall into ruin.

We did actually lay and grout the tile in the bathroom upstairs and will be posting pictures of our great accomplishment tomorrow - along with (hopefully) updates throughout the day as we finish whatever else needs to be done to that room.
