First, a note to Houseblogs.net folks -- I've contacted HB and asked them if they could suspend my feed until these tropical messes pass and/or I get a chance to set up a home improvement-dedicated feed. In the meantime - my apologies.
I'm blogging from Mom's house in Moss Point this afternoon... We've spent the morning trimming dead tree limbs and will hopefully get a chance to help move in loose items and board up before heading home to finish our preparations.
We DID find a couple of rooms in Evergreen, Alabama -- a little too east and not enough north for our liking... But it will do in a pinch. If Gustav tracks too far east, however... Our plan is to simply get in the cars and start driving north.
