It's 11:45 am and we've already run into a series of little glitches in our upstairs Phase III plan.
First, two guys (including Dave) and a truck made a run to Lowe's for materials and supplies at around 10:00 am and have yet to return. No materials and/or supplies means very little progress here at the house.
Second, we've discovered that centering skylights on the rooftop would mean having a skylight in a bizarre place inside the house and must, therefore, shift that entire project a little south.
Third, after removing the sheetrock from the offending hallway wall it was discovered that relocating and/or eliminating existing wiring in that wall will be a bit more difficult than originally thought - if not impossible in at least one area. Our impressive archway at the top of the stairs may have just gotten a little less impressive.
