WLOX-TV - The News for South Mississippi: State's Disaster Grant Applications Not Ready
The buzz on the street was that everyone was going home to check MDA's website to get their application in for the Homeowner's Assistance Program. We had been told that online applications would be taken starting today, February 20th. They didn't get out of the starting gate with this one -- and they aren't bothering with a new deadline... So who knows how long we wait now.
However long that is -- we can be sure to add 4 months to that before anyone starts seeing checks issued.
