Network busy. Unable to connect to server. Operation timed out. Satellite signal lost. Sigh. All the bumps and lurches still apparent in our post-Katrina communications technology are really starting to get to me.
We rely on a cell phone and a cable internet connection to contact the outside world now. It all sounds great until you endure a couple of days of the internet connection being lost every 45 seconds or so - pick up the cell phone to call and report the problem and get a screeching error tone in your ear telling you the cellular network is busy. Groan.
I don't want to speak too soon or anything -- but it seems I have a connection again today... New posts are forthcoming! I must write quickly before it all goes out again....
