For the first time in three years it looks like we'll be celebrating Christmas in a (mostly) finished house. Not since 2004 have we had Christmas in the house without missing walls or cabinets or half-completed baths. No washing dishes in the bathroom sink this year. No daily dusting of the ornaments to remove sheetrock dust. Finished flooring in every room... painted walls... no missing doorknobs (or doors).
Bliss.
It isn't that all of our projects are finished... It's just that
some projects take precedence. The latest? Christmas. :) It's time for trees and cookies and prayers and lights - along with happy kids and exhausted parents. Merry Christmas, blogosphere.
