The kids and I got caught in a sudden Ike-related squall this afternoon... And Mom has evacuated to our house as the only roads leading into her neighborhood have been closed due to the rising of the Pascagoula River.
Dave had to take a few minutes off from work to run home and move our plywood shutters out of the yard before they ended up doing more harm than good.
Hopefully Hurricane Ike won't affect us enough to ruin our plans to finish that upstairs bathroom floor this weekend.....
