Thank you Mr. Bartos

I just wanted to post a quick follow up to my earlier post on my paint buying experience (or lack of) at Lowe's. A kind Valspar employee did in fact read the blog and posted a comment. In summary, he said that it is intended that Signature base go with Signature colors and Ultra Premium with Ultra Premium, but Lowe's should color match the paint I had requested. That's what they've done for us in the past. I will attempt to get the paint I need again this weekend armed with new knowledge from Valspar and report later.

Anita checked our receipts and found that we've purchased approximately 120 gallons of Valspar paint since Hurricane Katrina and that does not include the paint we insisted New Life use to paint the upstairs rooms. We've found that the paint blends well and can be touched up long after drying.

So, I'd like to thank Mr. Bartos of Valspar for taking the time to write and to be concerned with customer satisfaction. I find that is a rare thing these days.
