No problems there. The battery and charger arrived in less than 24 hours.... And still no camera in sight. Phooey.
I've tried to take some photos of various happenings around the house for the blog with the battery and charger - both together and independently -- but it hasn't been working out.
Meanwhile - we have accomplished just a little bit more than absolutely nothing over the past few days of home improvement time. The crown molding and trim in William's room is now painted... and about 4 out of a dozen 12 foot baseboards have a coat of finish. Woo!
No pretty pictures to fill up an otherwise dull post.... No thrilling stories to share....
Thankfully, I got tagged by Sandy over at Curly's Corner for this meme!
“The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.”
1) What were you doing 5 years ago?
Five years ago I was expecting Yvonne - due in the coming October... Mom and Dave and I had only been in Pascagoula for maybe a month or two - and we were still busy moving in and fixing things up at this house. We thought we had a big to-do list back then... Bwahahaha.
2) What are 5 things on your to-do list for today?
- Finish painting the baseboards for William's room
- Make a few rosaries
- Post something on the blog
- Mow the lawn (this sounds much too civilized given the current state of our yard)
- Hang up a few of the wall decor items that have been wrapped in sheets and lying around the house for the last three years.
3) What are 5 snacks you enjoy?
Seedless grapes, white rice & butter, Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino, Bing cherries, and green olives.
4) What are five things you would do if you were a billionaire?
I would shut off my phone and have my mail forwarded to a post office box. Then I would quietly send cash to all those people on my mental list of folks who I've always wanted to help but haven't been able to yet. I would stop at red lights and randomly give money away. I would still shop at K-mart. Oh and I'd probably finish the house.
5) What are five jobs you’ve had?
Telemarketer. Data entry clerk. Envelope stuffer. Bill collector. Consultant.

White Rice? Have you tried Uncle Ben's Ready Rice, the kind that you just take the top off the package, put it in the microwave, and 90 seconds latter, perfect rice. Not to be confused with their other stuff in similar looking packets.
Greatest food object since sliced bread.
Ooooo No I haven't even heard of it, KA! I'll look for it next trip to the store though -- making rice faster and easier = miraculous.
Loved the post... great answers. I find it interesting that 3 out 4 of us like green olives! I eat them right out of the jar (sorry if it grosses anyone out)!
I love them out of the jar... Dave thinks I'm insane, of course. But they're fantastic.
Hey lady! Thanks for bringing me back amongst the blog living. Alex has been sick lately, so I haven't been updating as I'd like. Got the meme done though, check it out! http://toddlertactics.blogspot.com/2008/07/bring-on-info.html
