Dave bought three simple and kid-friendly (that's $15 each) barstools for the kitchen last night. I must admit that I completely underestimated the impact they would have on the household this afternoon.
It started with William asking if he could be of any help by assembling said barstools. Yes, I felt faint. Then I said cautiously, "Uh.. sure.. why not?"
Boxes were opened, tools acquired, and before I knew it a majority of my children were in the kitchen helping to assemble barstools. Honestly, there hasn't been this much hubbub around the house since UPS delivered the Wii.
