"WAVELAND - Kathleen Johnson, the volunteer at the center of a tussle with City Hall, seems to have a troubled past that city officials claim ignited the recent ruckus over files and donations.
According to the federal Bureau of Prisons, Johnson spent four months in custody and three years under federal supervision on a fraud charge stemming from the misuse of Social Security numbers in Wyoming in the early 1990s."
The Sun Herald | 01/31/2007 | Caretaker or just taker?: "On Tuesday, Johnson told the Sun Herald she had misplaced her Social Security card and later saw another Social Security number on a medical bill and assumed it was hers.
'I used it for years,' she said, 'and when I went back to college as an older student I used the number for student loans.'"
Oh yes.. I can see how misplacing your social security card would lead to using someone else's social security number for years...... !!!!! So this means that at no point between 'misplacing' her social security card and going back to college as an 'older student' with student loans... She never actually held a job considering you have to present your actual Social Security card to your employer....
