County identifies 50 nuisance properties; hearings planned: "For months, the county has attempted to get more than 50 property owners to acknowledge civic responsibilities and clean up their land.
Because the county has been unsuccessful in its attempts, through certified letters or notifications in newspapers, supervisors opted to follow a law that allows the county to clean the particular piece of property and assess the cost to the property's taxes."
