We need a title for our homeschool blog.... **Update**

It was Mom who pointed out late last night that our very name was full of home, literally... So after running the idea past the boys -- who thought the whole thing was really cool - we have named our school 'The Thomer School'.. If you're as slow as me - you would have missed it.. So I'll spell it out for you... That's The T - home - r school. See? Ha!

We need a title for our homeschool blog....

You may have noticed that things have been a little slow around the Did We Survive Katrina blog lately. There are two reasons for this: 1) Absolutely nothing has changed since about mid-January at best and 2) We have decided to homeschool our kids.

Removing the tuition burden from our financial picture will help us in the long-run when it comes to repairing the house, for sure... But all of the trauma and the life-changing and the priority-shifting has a lot more to do with the decision we've made.

It may be crazy - but I want to be with my kids. After all we have been through.. all we are still going through.. all we have yet to go through... every hour they were away during the day was almost unbearable.

We have no idea what the future holds. We don't even know when the future is - how long it will take to get here - how long it will last when it does... But I want to know one thing for certain: We'll be together.

And maybe we'll get some educatin' done in the meantime.
