I haven't thought about how quickly electricity was restored in our area for many months.. But we were surprised and grateful to find that our power had been restored by Singing River Electric on September 11th. That coupled with the miraculous survival of our refrigerator and one of our air conditioning compressors (for a little while anyway) - is what made it possible for us to stay in our home and work.
