Grout update

That wasn't so bad. And that worries me. I mean - I think it was supposed to be really bad -- the grouting thing... But it wasn't at all. As a matter of fact - it was kind of fun.

Dave ended up doing all the actual grouting and I had the sponging job (uh and the photography). I have no idea what we did really... but it looks pretty good. I keep thinking we're going to wake up tomorrow and the grout will be gone or something -- but at the moment we're happy with it.

Now I have to go read more about grouting and tell Dave all the stuff we forgot to do....

In a little less than seventy-two hours it will be time to seal and reseal and seal again!

I have total faith in your grouting! And for the record, I kind of wish icing a cake was as easy...smear it on with a trowel, and then just wipe off the excess! Wouldn't that be grand?

I also have to say that your idea of plopping a cake in a bowl and melting icing to dribble over it, also sounds rather appealing to me. The fact that huge hunks of my cake always seem to detach themselves from the cake during frosting really bugs me :(

Yikes, I must be losing my mind. I was sure I left a comment asking if you decided to do one coat of sealant before you grouted or not, but I can't see the comment anymore. I swear I'm losing it, or maybe I just failed to enter the correct word verification and didn't notice. I swear those verification words are getting more and more difficult to decipher :(
Hugs,
