Finally! A true before and after picture of the Lott home. I think all of those yammering on and on about Trent Lott's million-dollar beachfront mansion should be ashamed of themselves.

I've tried to make this point before (see entry: My house was nicer than Trent Lott's...) but maybe pictures will make it a bit clearer for all. Above is the Trent Lott home - also referred to the 'beachfront mansion' or the 'sprawling oceanfront estate'.

If you're still not following... I'll try again. This is a mansion:


And while we're clarifying - let's address this 'beachfront' and 'oceanfront' issue as well. Below is a picture of Pascagoula's 'beach' (please note, however, that this stretch of beach is actually not located in front of the Lott home but can be found a few blocks away in front of the local park):

This, however, is the sort of thing most people conjure up when they hear the word beach:


So one more time for emphasis' sake...

And you get a 'beachfront mansion'.
