Okay. I admit it. My original comment on this article was the result of something like a temper tantrum. I still believe that Governor Barbour could have phrased his explanation a bit more delicately -- but then I am also not familiar with the context of the statement. For now then - I will leave it at that.
Update: Aha! So there was a good reason for my hesitation regarding the original post here... Although I could not have possibly known this in advance unless I'm as clairvoyant as I sometimes pretend to be... We heard on the local news this morning that Gene Taylor promises that they will not strictly adopt the 51% stipulation. More to come as this develops...
