George is all grown up now and ready to move out of the house. Er.. okay actually he just turned nine today. But he thinks he's all grown up now and ready to move out of the house.
He tells us that he doesn't actually plan on moving out though because he knows how hard that would be on me. Such a considerate child.
He had a great birthday. Dave bought him a telescope and I think he really likes it although he was a little disappointed to find out just how hard it is to actually find a star with one of those things.... Thanks to Nana for the cool bag of candy, the card that he keeps reading to us, and the $50 bill. (He will not let us rest until he spends it...) Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the RoseArt set -- he really does love to draw and paint... and he told me I can't steal any of his markers this time. (*blush*)
