By mid-morning we still did not have a commitment from the Carpet & Tile store as far as installing our floors. Their crews were still busy with other jobs and they could not say for sure when they would get to us. We decided, then, that rather than waste another day waiting around for phone calls -- we would do something constructive. Dave was feeling under-the-weather anyway and a day home might do him some good....
Mom and I took off again for the next phase of Operation Vanessa -- the big sort. The day was spent opening bags and sorting into piles for women, men, boys, girls, and infants and then rebagging it all. We met some great people and yet again had a fantastic time. The shipment is roughly sorted now -- and ready for distribution... Now we get to take a little break and wait for the next phase.
